Last night I watched one of my all time favorite scary movies...The Changeling. There really isn't any blood or gore, no "slasher" stuff here. No evil spirits, demons, or monsters. It's just a straightforward haunted house movie. That said, I defy you to find a movie that will creep you out more than this one. The ghost wants to send George C. Scott a message...but what? That bouncing ball...the boarded up room...the voice on the tape....
The movie gives me the willies.
By the way, with that in mind, here are the 10 best ghost photos ever taken. { 6:22 PM }

Surfing around...here are some blast-from-the-past videos I've checked out on You Tube. One Night in Bangkok, Freeze Frame, Unchained, and You Could Be Mine. They're all bound to kick you out of that funk.
What's that...what? You want more? How about some Big Gun! { 6:14 PM }

Unstructured playtime! Every child wants it, and so do adults, it's just that the latter are better at "guilting" each other into thinking we should be tending to more pressing, responsible things on our "to-do" lists. So this news pretty much sums up what we all know: kids don't want structured "playdates" or force-fed activities, they want to look for crayfish and bugs, play cowboys and injuns and use their imagination to make up their own games. Those are the best parts of childhood, living life in the spirit of Huck Finn, not getting prepped for Harvard. { 6:28 AM }
